Vent D'Est was designed and built by Vitters Shipyard, Holland, as a result of the owner seeing the design for Kokomo - her slightly smaller close sister.

Just over 2 metres longer, Vent D'Est's layout is similar to that of Kokomo, but incorporates seating on the deck aft of the helmsman station.

Beautifully built, Vent D'Est can be seen as a "modern classic" and perhaps one of the best examples of Dutch boat building expertise.
