Launched in 2002 from Vitters Shipyard in Holland she was called African Queen.

This is an opportunity to buy a Dubois designed sailing yacht from a high quality Dutch yard at a sensible price. The yacht was built to an exceptionally high standard and she is well equipped. A huge attention to detail is immediately evident throughout this yacht. Her spectacular mahogany interior design is by Redman Whiteley Dixon and was fabricated by Die Oldenburger. The interior was redecorated in 2003 by Axel Vervoordt at the same time as she was made to comply with the MCA Code of Practice.

Since her purchase Vent D'Est has undertaken a highly successful circumnavigation. Vent D'Est is now available for inspection in Palma de Mallorca, Spain.
