Ilona - 45 m. Motor Yacht

Pendennis's first venture into the world of motoryachts, the Dubois designed 147' Ilona, made her London debut in March. She was seen (among other places) at Tower Bridge in London, where her sheer size and her power caused a stir among gathering crowds.

Ilona, a 45-metre all-alloy yacht, was launched from the Pendennis Shipyard in December.

The 334-ton luxury motor yacht is the first of its type to build at a yard known for building or refitting high-quality sailing yachts such as Taramber, Mamamouchi, Adix and Adela.

Naval Architect Ed Dubois drew the lines for this 15-knot cruiser, which is constructed entirely of aluminium to Det Norske Veritas classification. Redman Whiteley Design created the interior with large open spaces, comfort and practicality for up to 14 guests and a crew of 12. Ilona is powered by twin 960-hp, 3508 Caterpillars, which allow her to achieve 6,000 nautical miles at 12 knots. The yacht is fitted with a helicopter landing pad and full refueling capability.
