  • Design 281 - Slipstream
  • Slipstream, a 43.3 m. (141.1’) motor yacht, w as launched in February, 2001, from Warren Yachts Pty. Ltd., Australia.

Slipstream is an ocean-going motor yacht offering the highest level of seaworthiness and comfort together with striking looks.

The layout was developed in liaison with the highly experienced owners and Sam Sorgiovanni. By accommodating the tenders in a large lazarette, decks can be kept clean at all times.

Whilst keeping living spaces open and generous great care was given to retaining the right balance of bow and stern profile against superstructure length. The result is, we believe, a distinctive profile, which will always be noticeable and clear-cut in any harbour and amongst any company.

The hull was tank tested to confirm powering requirements, stabilizer design and also to refine bow shape and wetness reduction. She has been complemented for both quietness and smooth running at sea.

Construction using composite materials has been particularly well executed and the attention to detail in all areas is exemplary. As both naval architects and designers we are delighted with the result.
