MICHAEL BENAKIS

Michael graduated from Newcastle University in 1995 and joined Dubois three years later. Prior to this Michael worked as a naval architect for the Jubilee Sailing Trust during the construction of the barque Tenacious, the largest vessel built using cold moulded construction at the time.

The most recent projects he has been involved with are Alcanara, a 29.1m (95') sloop built in Western Australia, Valquest, a 40.8m (133.8') sloop, built at Bloemsma & Van Breemen Shipyard in Holland, a 66m (216�) sloop currently in build at Vitters Shipyard, Nostromo, a 30m (98�) Sloop currently in build at Pendennis in Falmouth and most recently the Oyster 125
