Duncan Fawkes

Duncan joined Dubois in 2001. Having graduated from Southampton Institute with a Diploma in Yacht & Boat Design in 1993, he spent the first 6 years of his working life with Prout Catamarans. During this time he helped develop their range of sail and power catamarans and became the manager of their in-house design office.

Moving to Cornwall, he then worked for Pendennis Shipyard for two years. As a member of their engineering design team, he worked on various superyacht projects including the Dubois designed Beagle V.

During his time with Dubois, Duncan has worked on all aspects of design and particularly enjoys developing new yachts with a focus on space planning and exterior styling. Yachts he has worked on include, Moonbird (ex-Midnight), Helios, Ganesha (ex-Zulu), Nirvana, Kokomo, Oyster 100 & 125 and Zefira.

Duncan enjoys walking, racing dinghies and cruising the Solent with his family.
