Jerry Turner

Jerry studied Naval Architecture at the internationally recognised Southampton Institute gaining a Diploma in Yacht & Boat Design in 1988 and subsequently an Associateship in Naval Arcitecture in 1989, both with Distinctions.

On joining Dubois in 1989, Jerry was soon involved in all aspects of design work, from layouts to tank testing, hydrodynamics, stability and structural analysis.  He also writes many unique design and engineering programs for use by the Dubois team.

Jerry has worked on many of the most challenging projects undertaken by Dubois, including racing yachts, powerboats and multihulls.  Some of his best known projects include Kokomo, Red Dragon, Nirvana and Twizzle.

Jerry is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Royal Institution of Naval Architects.  He lives with his family in Lymington and has a wide range of interests including sailing, cycling, motorcycling, photography and Argentine Tango.
