Oyster 100 by Dubois

Overview

Dubois Naval Architects and Oyster teamed up in 2007 to design the Oyster Superyachts by Dubois. The design brief was for a concept that could carry superyacht luxury and style but be capable of being built as a production yacht; with greater efficiency and speed. Three different designs were commissioned; the Oyster 100, the Oyster 125 pilot saloon and the Oyster 125 FB; a flybridge sloop.

We are delighted to say that the Oyster Superyachts are proving to be a great success!  The yachts are in build at RMK in Turkey and the first of the Oyster 100 has been bought by an existing Oyster owner who is upgrading from a smaller yacht.  Delivery is expected in Summer 2011.

The second Oyster 100 is out of the mould and fit-out began this summer. The third has just started moulding - things are moving along quickly at RMK!

The Oyster 100 is the first Dubois composite superyacht designed and built to Lloyds Classification.  There have been some challenges with this first model and the Oyster team, with enormous dedication, has successfully worked through these to achieve the Lloyds 100 A1 status.  This recognition proves the design and build quality of these vessels and it will give great peace of mind to every owner, knowing that their yacht has been designed and built to such an exacting standard.
