Windy Draco by Dubois - 25ft

Overview

Dubois are delighted to have been comissioned by Windy to design a range of 'entry level' sportsboats under the Draco brand.

Comprising three models, the Draco range is intended for cruising, and are designed to tempt first-time buyers to consider boating as an active adventure pursuit.

Key to the concept is the the tent-like lightweight canopy, supported on sprung carbon poles, that can be erected and secured over the bow seating areas to transform even the smaller boats in th erange into craft with sleeping accommodation.  Heavy duty fendering all round and a clever fold-out step to ease bow-to-shore access indicate the level of detail that has gone into making these designs as practical and useable as possible

Shown here is the 25-foot Draco which has comfortable bow seating, along with helm seats which can both swivel round to face aft.  There is a central table, and the aft beanch can be folded down to create a sunbed.
