Malcolm McKeon
Malcolm McKeon
Malcolm grew up in Hong Kong where his interest in yacht design was further enhanced by the time he spent sailing, at every opportunity, on the growing fleet of offshore racing yachts. He and Ed Dubois met in 1976 when they sailed together in Hong Kong.
Malcolm joined Dubois soon after graduating in 1981. He became a Director and Shareholder of Dubois Naval Architects in 1989. Malcolm has been intimately involved in the design of over 250 yachts.
Malcolm is passionate about developing new concepts and shapes, optimising performance and working on getting the proportions of a design absolutely perfect.
Malcolm is a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Naval Architects and a Member of the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers. Malcolm sails his own yacht in the Solent and races regularly.
