Mariposa 3a
28.9m - Cruising Sloop
Price EUR 3.95M
Overview
Mariposa 3a was designed to satisfy her owner's desire to create a yacht with both classic appearance and modern day performance. She takes advantage of Dubois Naval Architect's understanding of what makes a boat sail fast - based on the company's racing boat success - and combines this with a practical interior layout and flowing lines and overhangs. Mariposa 3a is admired wherever she sails.
Built by Holland's Vitters Shipyard in 1994, she has a classic design in a style reminiscent of the great racing yachts of the 1920's and 1930's. With her beautiful lines, classic sheer and deck house profile married to a modern hull shape and highly developed keel design, the result is an extremely fast and supremely seaworthy vessel, capable of world-wide cruising in any weather.
There is accommodation for six guests in three cabins and up to four crew members in her two cabins forward. The owner's stateroom has a large queen size bed, shower room, bidet and vanity, desk, spacious hanging lockers, good stowage and all was completely refurbished in 2007. The two guest cabins both have en suite shower and head facilities, built to the same high standard.
